Kingdom Hearts Google Doc.

Found this the other day... It's a Google Doc. that resumes the whole Kingdom Hearts Story, of all games, really superficially, of course, using only short phrases and figures, but it's funny and helps understanding the complicated points... Enjoy minna ~~

Machina and Rem

They're both from Type-0, and their story is the saddest EVER...
For the backgound history of the game, see this post: http://kingdomheartsfinal.blogspot.com.br/2012/07/final-fantasy-type-0.html
                 Needless to say, SPOILERS.

So, from the beggining, Machina Kunagiri was Rem Tokimiya's best childhood friend, they grew up in the same village, but hadn't seen each other in seven years. They were both students at Suzako Peristylium, in Class Two, but neighther knew of the other's presence. Because of their great skill at magic, they were both transfered to Class Zero, and found out about the other.
Rem had a serious illness, ever since she was a child, and she knew that she would ocasionally die of it. Rem and Machina have some conversations during the game. In one, the subject is this illness, she has a coughing crisis, and he asks if her illness has gotten worse. She says that she has no idea what he's talking about, and that it's just ashtma. Machina gets frustraded, and asks why she's lying to him, if she does not trust him, but she assures it's not the case.
In another ocasion, Machina grieves the fact that he was not strong enough to protect the people from the village, and Rem says that they were only child, so there was nothing they could do. She asks Machina if he remembers the time that he vowed to become a strong soldier to protect her, and he says he remembers. Then, she asks, teasing him, if he remembers asking Rem to become his wife. He gets embarassed, and says that he was only a child, and Rem pretends to be offended.
Some time later, Machina finds out that Class Zero ans the commander were responsible for his brother, Izana's death, and gets really mad. He is offered a chance to leave the class, but denies, and promises on Izana's name that he will become stronger than Class Zero, in order to protect Rem. Class Zero is attacked by Celestia, who thinks that they killed the queen, and takes refuge in a forest. In this refuge, Machina yells at Ace and Queen over his brother's death. Rem stops him from storming off the place, but he insists on leaving to patrol the area, and promises Rem that he will protect her at all costs, before setting off.
Same as in the refuge, Machina gets the feeling of being observed more than once, and, as time passes, his behavior changes, he starts to spend long spaces of time away, and it worries everyone, especially Rem. It becomes really common for Machina to state that he will protect her.
After Milites's army is defeated, the two of them have a conversation. Rem says that she joined the academy to take part in Operation Apostle, to defeat Cid, an to become stronger. Machina says he joided for the same reasons, and adds that he has realized that he does not belong to Class Zero, because he hasn't been any help, he was the one who needed help. Rem says that he can count on both her and Class Zero, but he changes the subject, saying once more that he will protect her. Inspite Rem being against it, he leaves the school.
After he leaves, machina goes to Qun'mi, an I'Cie, and asks her for I'Cie power to protect Rem. She agrees, and gives him the power, along with a mask. Rem is also made a I'Cie of Suzako, to ensure the coming of Agito. They meet, and neighter knows who the other is. Believing that they are enemies, they fight. In the middle of the fight, though, his maks falls off, and Rem realizes who he is. She tries to stop her attack, and is impaled in Machina's rapier. He gets desperate and anguished when he sees that Rem's dying. He cries and apologizes, saying that he only became an I'Cie because he was afraid of losing her and being alone. Rem was about to die anyway from her illness, but says nothing. As she dies, she says to Machina not to forget her. He refuses himself to move, and just stays there, holding Rem's body, and ends up freezing, and Dying as well.
Just before the final battle with Cid, Class Zero finds their bodies. Machina and Rem speaks to them from the Crystal they're crystalized in, and says that they'll be with them in the fight. Their help is what makes them win. Arecia reviver Rem and Machina, but they arrive in the battle scene just to find out that everyone died while battling Cid. The scene ends with the who of them looking over the remains of Rubrum.
Years later, Machina is 67, married to Rem, and he writes down the events of the war, to ensure the events and Class Zetro would never be forgotten. He dies soon after, smiling, and the game ends.
But, there is also a alternative ending, a alternative future created by Arecia, where the war bever happened, and where Class Zero, Machina, Rem and Izana are all alive, having been given a second chance to live.

Machina and Rem as spirits, supporting Class Zero.

Final Fantasy Type-0

I'm going to post about the game that I think will be one of the best FF games ever... I just hope it is released in english, because otherwise I'll just have to learn japanese in order to play it!

WARNING: SPOILERS OF THE ENTIRE GAME

The story is the following: there are four realms, called: Suzako Fiefdom of Rubrum, Milites Empire, Lorican Alliance, Kingdom of Concordia. Each has a crystal that gives magic power to the realm and to some people.
The Milites Empire's army, under the command of Marshal Cid, invades the other coutries, violating a peace agreement set by the ancient I'cie (I'Cie are something like gods, they have a ative part in FF XIII). He does not conquer the Suzako Peristylium, tough. The army finds a way to nullify the magic of the Rubrum crystal, which powered Suzako, and because of this, the Peristylium falls to Cid's domain. But not everything is lost, since a group of students from the Peristylium Suzako Magic Academy, the Class Zero, still has the power from the crystal, while all other students lose theirs. This group of 12 students, later joined by two more, join the "Operation Apostle", to free the capital of the foreing domain.

       Gameplay: (Source ~~> http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy_Type-0)

The battle system in the game is a new evolution of the "ATB Kai" system created by Takatsugu Nakazawa for Final Fantasy X-2, and later refined inCrisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-. Unlike Crisis Core -Final Fantasy VII-, the combat in Final Fantasy Type-0 is party-based. Instead of navigating through menus, actions are mapped directly to the face buttons for quick access. Nakazawa says he wants it to be the fastest version of ATB ever created. It also supports both Ad-hoc multiplayer for up to three players, and online Square Enix membership connection.
This is manifested not in full-scale multiplayer, but as an emergency backup when the player's party is about to be wiped out. Multiplayer will normally last for three minutes, but time can be increased through the gathering of SP. The players can determine the enemies' weak points with Kill Sight, allowing them to deal a deathblow resulting in an Instant Death. There will be some fighting game style elements like movement canceling for skilled action players.

Altocrystarium system.

Also, like Final Fantasy XIII, the game has a Crystarium system, called Alto Crystarium. This system helps to power up the characters' magic using an energy called "Phantoma", drawn from defeated monsters, to restore or fortify magic. When a character absorbs this energy, their magic recovers a bit. The amount of recovery depends on the type of Phantoma, as indicated by the color.
The Phantoma is also used in the Alto Crystarium to power up the characters' magic. Depending on the type of magic, the character can power up their magic in different areas. For example, a character's Fire RF magic can be powered up in strength, MP usage, call time, projectile distance and speed. Increasing the Fire RF magic's strength parameter requires six red Phantomas.

Ace using Fire ST.

Magic comes in three elemental types: fire, ice, and thunder. The various spells also differ in attack pattern and call method. Five varieties in this area are known at the moment:
  • Shotgun (SHG): This type spreads at multiple height levels. It doesn't travel far, but is powerful against close enemies.
  • Rifle (RF): This type shoots out straight in the direction of the target. It travels far but has narrow range.
  • Bomb (BOM): This type is effective in your immediate surroundings. It can be useful against quick enemies and small enemies.
  • Missile (MIS): This type chases after the enemy before releasing its magic. The higher level (that is, the magic with the "ra" and "ga" at the end of their names) will expand to encompass surroundings.
  • Rocket Launcher (ROK): When you begin casting this type, a target will appear. The magic will fire in the direction that you aim. When it strikes, it will explode and damage enemies in the surroundings.
Furthermore, characters and summons can learn their individual abilities by using AP won through leveling. Acquiring new abilities may unveil more advanced abilities that will strengthen each character or summon according to their fighting style.

Queen and Nine fighting an enemy leader.
Soldiers surrendering after the defeat of their leader.

Like Final Fantasy XII, the player has the option to choose the leader of their party of three and party members can be changed during gameplay manually or when the leading member is KOed. During each mission, the player is able to call in aid from another player (or NPC) for a duration of three minutes, with bonus time granted through good play.[2]In some cases the victory can be decided in other ways, such as defeating the enemy leader, which will trigger the surrender of its minions.[3]

Ace is sacrificing himself for summoning.

Summons also appear in the game, and play a role in the characters' growth, though they gain EXP and AP separately from the summoner. When summoned, they replace the summoner and the player can't have the summoner again in the party until the mission is finished. However, the summons work as a normal party member, which can be directly controlled by the player or by the AI, much like in Final Fantasy XII International Zodiac Job System[4]
Another feature from the game is the Trinity Attack system. These are group combination skills that require 3 members to pull-off. In general they are much weaker than Summons, but can be used multiple times without needing to sacrifice a character.

Speak to moogles for missions.

The game's structure is mission-based. There are also sub-objectives in battle to strive for. The game has a World Map, and the player can ride chocobos or fly an airship and use its weapons in an aerial battle. Battles are initiated byRandom Encounters and the monsters roam around the world map.
Final Fantasy Type-0's World Map known as the "Active World Map" features two minigame style elements new to the series, War battles called Skirmishes and Airship Dogfights. Skirmishes involves moving troops around and capturing areas in an RTS styled manner. Different troops have different strong points e.g. specialized against machines. Special missions give you encampments to control and more troops to take charge of. In Airship Combat, the airship you control has machine guns installed on it. This means you can take on mounted dragons controlled by Concordia in dog fights. There are various kinds of dragons, including larger ones used by the Royal Guard. You also fight them on the deck.
There also an Arena that features two types of training available to the players:
  • Simulation Battles – The player can progress through 20 rounds of fighting to level up their characters and get them Phantoma. The player still keeps the experience if they die part way through.
  • Secret Training – The Controlled character will be trained while the player's PlayStation Portable is in sleep mode. The more time the PlayStation Portable is in sleep mode, the more EXP the character gets.
Tabata also says that Final Fantasy Type-0 is similar to The 3rd Birthday, saying that while they are two different games in terms of content, the core of what the staff can do on the PlayStation Portable in terms of gameplay is similar between the two games.

Originally, Class Zero had only twelve students, but later two more joined, Machina Kunagiri and Rem Tokimyia. It's justly because of these additions to the regular 12 students that this class Zero was able to win where all the past others had failed (there were other class Zeros in the past). The end of this game is one of the saddest, even more than KH 358/2 Days. Machina and Rem fight each other without Knowing who they are fighting, and Machina kills her. When he realizes who he just killed, he just gets desperate, and end up freezing to death while holding Rem's body. A I'Cie pities them and revives both. They go back to the academy, just to find out that the whole class died while defeating Cid, just the two of them survived. They write a book preserving the memory of their fallen companions. But there's a alternative ending, when a paralell universe is created, where the whole class is still alive.
I'll make another post with the characters, because this one is already too long...

Organization XIII - N° I - Xemnas the Superior.

Xemnas is the founding member or Organization XIII, and number One. He came up with the plan to create hearts using Kingdom Hearts to become whole again. He uses two ethereal red blades (which look just like Lighsabers, so I think he might be a Sith... dunno.) and the element of nothingnes.
Now, I know that there's the whole Ansem-Xemnas-Riku-Diz-Xehanort-Terra paradox and stuff, everyone looks the same at some point, and everyone is called Ansem at some point... It's really confusing, and I plan to explain it sometime, but just to clarify, I'm just gonna talk about Xemnas, the leader of Organization XIII, kay?
He is evil, rarely appears in 358/2 Days, letting Saix transmit his orders in his stead, and is the final boss in KH II. You'll fight him after you defeat everyone else in the Land That never Was, in the highest spot in the building. He has five stages in total, and you fight him with Sora and Riku. The first is easy, it takes place in the same spot where Riku and Roxas fought, and he is weak, do not have strong attacks. the second stage is the demon king, he is in a throne. use drives and win easily. The third is like a gummi ship travel, just recharge and fire at him. there are close to no enemies, and he will have become a giant flying thing that does not attack you. On the fourth, he's in the throne again, but this time he has some lighting attacks, and can throw you into space. if he does so, use reaction commands to land in buildings and come back aboard. be careful with the lighting that keeps you from hitting him.
The  fifth and final stage is in a black and white room.Xemnas will have changed clothes. the floor moves in a circular confusing motion, and his attacks are strong. This stage is hard. use reaction command "reversal" to get close to him, and try to avoid his clone he'll create, focus on himself. When he catches Sora and you control Riku, use dark aura to block his attacks and get to him to free Sora with the reaction command. When he starts shooting a freaking lot of lasers, hit triangle and x at the same time repeteadly to reflect them. you have to hit him with a combo to win, killing him.
Once you did, congratulations, you finished KH II!
He's a very strong oponent, and really hard to beat. In KH 3D (Dream Drop Distance) he appears in a younger but already Nobody version.

See what I said? HE USES TWO LIGHTSABERS! HE'S A SITH LORD!

Organization XIII - N° XIV - Xion the Unknown

Xion, the only other girl in the Organization, aside from Larxene, is not really a Nobody, she was created from Sora's memories of Kairi which were stolen and modified by Naminé in CoM. That's why she looks like Kairi, and even their theme songs are similar. She can also use a keyblade in the start of 358/2 Days, but she loses this ability somehow, and is helped by Roxas in her missions. Each member in the Organization sees her differently, Roxas firstly saw her with the hood on, but once they became friends, he saw her without it, while the others still saw only the hood. Xigbar, who knew Ventus (they meet in Birth By Sleep), sees her with Ventus's armor.
She worries about Roxas a lot, especially when he's inconscious. Saix knows what she is, not a real Nobody, and mocks at her, calling her just a puppet, which makes Roxas really angry.
In the end, she runs away, because she found out that she was a part of someone else, Riku meets with her, in a mission she is given to eliminate him, and tells her what she is. She becomes terribly confused, but in the end, accepts her fate, to fuse back with Sora. She meets with Roxas, and he sees her face as Soras's instead of Xion's. then, they fight, and by the end of the battle Roxas no longer knows who she was, as he lost his memories of her, and he kills her, allowing her to be absorbed by Roxas. Right when she's dying, Roxas remembers her, and the death scene is terribly sad. She's the final boss in Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, and has four armors, which change according to the place you're battling her.

        Up to down, armors 1, 2, 3 and 4.

The last pic is when Roxas sees her as Sora, right before they fight.

Organization XIII - N°XIII - Roxas the Key of Destiny

Now on to Roxas! Roxas, as everyone well knows (I think  *~*), is Sora's Nobody. As such, he has the power to wield the keyblade. He was created in the end of KH I, when Sora becomes a heartless in Hollow Bastion. He is really powerful, as he holds half of Sora's power, and he is important because he's the only member who is able to wield the keyblade, and therefore, the only one who can collect hearts for the organization's plan, other than Sora. In 358/2 Days, the game that tells his story, he becomes Axel's best friend, and after, Xion's too. They always meet at the clock tower at the central station to eat Ice cream togheter. When he finds about the whole plan, and that Xemnas wanted to controll him, he battles Saix and lefts the Organization, after having battled Xion. When he kills her, he gains the ability to use both hers and his keyblade, Oblivion and Oathkeeper. He had lost his memory of her, but right when she's dying he remembers, creating the saddest game ending I've seen.
After he leaves, he battles Riku, who is confused about why he can use the keyblade. That's when Riku gives in to the darkness in his heart, to gain power to fight Roxas. Riku wins, and he is captured, his memory is altered, and he's put in the virtual Twilight Town, where he makes new friends, Hayner, Pence and Olette. There, in the beggining ok KH II, he meets Naminé, and both seems to have taken a liking for each other, which is only natural, given that they are Sora's and Kairi's nobodies, after all.
When Roxas learns that he was never supposed to exist, he gets angry, but after he conforms himself, and joins Sora willingly.
Roxas is a special case amongst the Nobodies: he does not look like Sora, but he's the image of Ventus. That's because (FYI: SPOILERS OF BIRTH BY SLEEP) in the end of KH: Birth By Sleep, Ventus's heart enters in Sora, giving him the ability to wield a keyblade, and the looks of his nobody.

The fourth pic, up to down, shows the scene when Xemnas welcomes Roxas into to Organization, and gives him his name. The sixth, which shows four guys, represents the second most confusing identity crisis in the game, the Sora-Roxas-Ventus-Vanitas paradox (which only loses to the Ansem-Xemnas-Diz-Riku paradox). basically, the four of them have connections, and Roxas-Ventus and Vanitas-Sora looks the same... not to confuse, Ventus and Vanitas are from BBS - Vanitas is a evil part of Ventus - And Roxas and Sora are from the other games... The eight is my favourite, because it basically tells Roxas's story.

Organization XIII - N°XII - Larxene the Savage Nymph

Larxene is the only member of the Organization that I hate. I mean, I really hate her. Forgive me for my words, but there's no other way to dscribe her - She's a bitch. She loves to meddle in things that does not concern her, and she's ignorant and mean. She spend the whole CoM being mean to Naminé, laughing at her, and the whole 358/2 Days calling Roxas a useless trash whenever they went on missions toghether and laughing at Demyx because of his calmness and non-violence. He actually gets happy when she dies, he says he's relieved he can play his sitar in peace again. Also, everytime she meets with Sora she is mean to him, and laughs of his confused memories. she tells him that "more pain to you means more fun to me".
She has the lighting element, and uses eight knives. She meets her well-deserved end when she goes to kill Sora, after she finds out that Axel's betrayed her, but Sora kicks her ass big-time, and she dies, to everyone's happiness (mine included). She's the only woman in the Organization, aside from Xion. The only cool thing about her are her weapons.

Organization XIII - N° XI - Marluxia the Graceful Assassin

Marluxia is evil. There's no doubt concerning that. He isn't called "assassin" for no reason, he really likes to kill, and his weapon is a giant scythe. Most of the people don't like him, and laugh at him because his hair is pink and his scythe releases pink flower petals whenever he swings it. But it has a special meaning: In Japan, the color pink represents death, so he is a death agent. The petals means the death coming. His scythe can be associated with a death scythe, and there you have a Shinigami, a god of death. I really like this hidden meaning, 'cause it makes him even more awesome, and explains his attitude and his title.
He was given leadership over castle oblivion, and was also the head of the conspiracy group that planned to take over the Organization. Along with Axel, Larxene, Zexion, Vexen and some others, he was eliminated by Sora (Sora, Riku and Axel killed all of those there, except for Axel himself). He's the final boss in Sora's part in CoM. He's the one who had the idea of using Naminé to control Sora.
As every good boss, he has more than one form, to complicate our lives. He has four Badass forms, and is hard to beat.

The three last pictures are Marluxia's Second, third and final form. the first is his usual form. the hardest one to beat was the third, the angelical form.

Organization XIII - N°X - Luxord the Gambler of Fate

Luxord is another of my favourite Nobodies, for three reasons. One, he uses cards as weapons, controlling the element of time, and I think that people who uses cards are awesome. Two, he looks really badass, with the short hair, a short beard, a lot of earrings and a sarcastic face. Three, he is one of the nicest people in the Organization. In 358/2 days he is really helpful and kind to Roxas, unlike some others.
You find him first in Port Royal, where he is trying to get the cursed pirates to help him. After, you'll battle him in The Land That Never Was. I don't really get how the battle with him works, but you have to empty his gauge before he empties yours. he uses all kind of tricks, like turning you into a dice or a card. Just hit him whenever you can, and try to win the little games, such as guessing which card is he when he turns into one. It's not hard at all.
Some people tend to match him with Demyx ( ? ), which I don't like, since I'm not a yaoi fan at all  so be VERY careful if looking for "Luxord fanart" in Google images... You can see some terrible pics...

See what I mean? he has this absolutely badass face, and a superiority expression... I really love him.
